How to e-Verify ITR Online Using ICICI Net Banking
Income Tax Return filing without verification is incomplete, so it is a crucial step for any taxpayer. There are several ways through which the income tax return can be verified. An individual can print it, sign it and send it to CPC, Bengaluru. One can verify the same using an electronic verification code (EVC) through the Netbanking, ATM, or bank account. Here, we provide a step-by-step guide to verifying Income Tax Return ITR using ICICI net banking.
Step 1: Log on to the e-filing website
Go to the ‘e-file’ tab on the dashboard >> select ‘Income Tax Returns’ >> then select ‘e-verify return’.
Step 2: Select the option to e-verify via generating Electronic Verification Code (EVC)-Through Net Banking
Step 3: Step 3:- Once selecting the net banking option, you will be asked to select your preferred net banking, Select ICICI Bank.
Step 4: At the ICICI Bank login page, enter your Login ID and Password, after click on the Login button.
Step 5: On the Dashboard, click on the “Payments & Transfers” tab, and from the drop-down list, select option “Tax Returns.”
Step 6: On the next page, under the heading “e-File/ e-Verify Your Tax Returns,” click on the option “E-File Now”. After this, accept the terms & conditions and click on the “Submit” button.
Step 7: On successful login, you will be redirected to the e-filing dashboard on the e-filing website. Select the respective ITR form/Services and click e-verify. Your ITR/Form/ Service will be e-verified successfully.
