The Aadhaar Card holder can change details such as name, address, photograph, and email ID. He/she can either visit the offline center or through the official website. All such changes are recorded as a part of the Aadhaar card’s update history. The UIDAI has introduced a feature in which the Aadhaar card holders can check their Aadhaar update history online. The below-mentioned steps highlight the procedure to check the Aadhaar Update history for individuals -

  • Step 1. After logging in to the UIDAI official website, navigate to the ‘My Aadhaar’, then click on the Aadhaar Update history section under ‘Update your Aadhaar’ section.
  • Step 2. Enter the details of your Aadhaar like the 12-digit Aadhaar number or virtual ID and the security code. In case, you don’t receive the code or enter the wrong code, you can click on ‘Try another’ and generate a new one.
  • Step 3. Click on ‘Send OTP’ to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. You can also generate it through the mAadhaar app by selecting TOTP.
  • Step 4. Enter the OTP and click on submit. Soon after submitting, you will be presented with the Aadhaar card updates on your screen.

How to Download Aadhaar Card History in PDF?

If you want to download the PFD format of your Aadhaar Update history, you can follow these simple steps.

  • Step 1. Visit the UIDAI website and click on ‘MyAadhaar’.
  • Step 2. Click on the Aadhaar update history under the section ‘Update Aadhaar’. Enter all the details here and view the history of updates in Aadhaar.
  • Step 3. Navigate to the extreme right-hand side of the Aadhaar Update history page and click on the three vertical dots.
  • Step 4. Either print it immediately by selecting ‘Print’ and save it as a PDF.

How can I Check my Aadhaar Card Update Status?

Checking your Aadhaar update status online on the UIDAI website is free. All you need to do is follow these simple steps mentioned below -

  • Step 1. Visit the official UIDAI website and click on the “MyAadhaar” option on the homepage. Navigate to the ‘Check Aadhaar Status’ under the ‘Get Aadhaar’ tab.
  • Step 2. Enter the enrolment ID mentioned on the update acknowledgment slip.
  • Step 3. Enter the Captcha code and you can view the status of the Aadhaar card update in the below-mentioned list of formats -
    • Draft Stage
    • Payment Stage
    • Verification stage
    • Validation stage
    • Completed

In case, you have lost the acknowledgement slip, you can check your Aadhaar status online through these steps -

  • Step 1. Visit the myAadhaar website to retrieve your enrolment number.
  • Step 2. Enter details like your name, address, mobile number, and code to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
  • Step 3. Now, enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify OTP’ option.
  • Step 4. After the verification is completed, you will receive an enrolment number on your registered mobile number or email address. This enrolment number can be used to check your Aadhaar card status.
