The Government of India started the e-Shram yojana to provide social security to the workers engaged in the unorganized sector. The government also launched the e-shram portal to collect data of all unorganized workers and provide them with the benefits of government schemes.

  • Provide the date of birth, UAN number, and captcha code, and click 'Generate OTP.'
  • Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click 'Validate.'

  • Click on 'Preview' to review the entered details, and then click 'Submit.'
  • Receive another OTP, enter it, and click 'Verify.'

  • Visit the e-shram portal and click on the tab named ‘already registered.’
  • Select the ‘Update/download UAN card’ option.
  • Provide the details required, like the UAN number, captcha code, and date of birth. Now, click on ‘generate OTP.’
  • Submit the OTP received on the mobile number and click on ‘validate.’
  • Confirm these details. Click on ‘Preview’ and check the details. Now, click on submit.
  • Submit the OTP received on your mobile number to complete OTP verification. Now, click on verify.
  • The e-shram card is generated, and you can click on the download option.
