EPFiGMS

What is EPFIGMS?

Epfigms is an acronym for EPF i Grievance Management System, a customized EPFO portal (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) to register and track grievances of PF members, EPS pensioners, employers, and others. The portal allows users to lodge complaints online with OTP verification, PPO number validation, feedback, and document upload. The portal also provides a unique registration number, acknowledgment through SMS & email, status updates, feedback, and categorization of grievances. Epfigms aims to provide a single window platform for speedy redressal of grievances related to EPF services.

How to register a complaint on EPFIGMS

If you are facing any issues related to EPFO services, such as delay in claim settlement, incorrect details in your account, or difficulty in accessing online services, you can raise a grievance through the EPF i-Grievance Management System (EPFiGMS). This online portal lets you register your complaint and track its status. To use this portal, you need to have your Universal Account Number (UAN) and an active mobile number linked to it. You can also attach relevant documents to support your grievance. Here are the steps to raise a grievance through EPFiGMS:

  1. Visit the EPFiGMS website at https://epfigms.gov.in/

  2. Click on "Register Grievance" and enter your UAN and captcha code.

  3. Verify your personal details and select the category and sub-category of your grievance.

  4. Provide a brief description of your grievance and mention the details of the EPF office concerned.

  5. Upload any supporting documents if required and click on "Submit."

  6. You will receive an acknowledgment number and an SMS validation on your registered mobile number.

  7. You can use this number to track the status of your grievance on the same portal or by calling the toll-free number 1800118005.

You can expect a resolution of your grievance within 15 days from the date of submission. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can escalate your grievance to a higher authority through the same portal
